This year I have decided to create the artistic Advent Calendar around the topic self-love. Holidays can be tough. Especially if it means gathering with your family, or the opposite -- not seeing your family. Especially when the world around us feels like collapses day by day. 
 
So that's why... I am here to support you. 
 
Each day, you will have something from me. Prints (existing and completely new ones), postcards, original artworks, jewellery items, my hand made experiments and unique pieces.
 
1 piece a day = 24 creations by me. 24 days spent toghether lifting your spirit.

As a child growing up in Uzbekistan, I was very far away from the catholic tradition of advent calendar countdown preparing for the birth of Jesus. Until my mum did her PHD in Germany. But of course it was never about Jesus. It was about making every day -- like a little celebration. She first brought a chocolate advents calendars to me and my sister, then started to make her own, when she came back from Germany for good.
 
At first there were different candies each day, then over the years it started to evolve into something bigger. I receive advent calendar from her every year -- no matter if she is in Vienna or not, on the 1st of December I have 24 packed little presents from her. And the items I receive each day varies from candies, to pyjamas, to underwear and socks, to some little souvenirs, to even cash 🤑 it is wild!
